I wrote Cold Words and then thought it would be the perfect song to make a music video for my audition for the Film and Television Conservatory at the local School of Arts.
I got volunteers from my 8th grade class and then directed them. My classmates and mom helped to film. But I set up all the shots and directed the “actors”.
Then I edited it all together. It was a lot of fun.
I should hear back by next week if I got in or not!
I wrote this song last spring and performed it at a competition.
I recorded it and got it up on iTunes and Amazon by the summer.
Then when I was in Chicago visiting my Grandparents I made my music video.
The First Cover of one of my Songs!!
I was so excited when my friend Sophia told me how much she loved it and she wanted to make a cover of my song! Luckily our friend Jonny was in town and we recorded a cover combining our talents.
Then we made a music video with OnFilm productions. Usually when I do videos I am doing everything, which can be fun, but also harder. It was GREAT being on only one side of the camera. I love how it turned out.
I was fortunate enough to sing in church and had a great doing so. And to everyone’s surprise and joy… Well I’ll Let you find that out for yourself at the end of the video.
This was a combination of two less known Primary songs. The Prieshood is Restored + A Young Man Prepared (The words were changed a bit to fit the circumstances of me being a deacon and not a primary kid).
I hope you enjoyed my singing. Goodbye and Have a good day.
I have accomplished my first song, My Dog’s a Zombie and put it on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Spotify, and many others digital sites through CdBaby. I’m Happy I have accomplished this, it is a great feeling to have inside. I would like to help others through my music and also inspire others to help others as well. I hope to get a Christmas song out soon too.
